We charge by the minute for site updates and this has proven to be very economical for most of our clients. We can always give you an estimate before we start. The best way to keep the cost of changes to your website under control is to group them together and send us a detailed email or Word document with any supporting documents or images that will be required we handle the rest. We track our time and you are only billed for the time it takes to do those changes you have requested (no monthly maintenance fees). This is especially useful for people who are not very computer literate. We take all the worry out of changes- as easy as an email.

It is used to manage and control a large, dynamic collection of Web material (HTML documents and their associated images). A WCMS facilitates content creation, content control, editing, and essential Web maintenance functions.

 

If you are changing your website on a daily or weekly basis then you need another type of website. That would be a functional website with a content management system. You do pay more up front for these systems. These systems are installed on the server and the new site is created to function with a template to facilitate content changes by you. An example of a comprehensive content management system is Wordpress or Joomla.There are many templates to choose from and you have full access to change content, menu and images. Wordpress and Joomla have extensive support material online however you do need to be fairly computer literate.

 

Both systems have many, many plug in components available to facilitate different needs. The important thing to remember is that you will need to pay for periodic security upgrades.
